We traveled down PCH, spotted the street Sunset Terrace and found the closest parking spot. We walked down to a little staircase between two houses that led us down to the beach. We climbed up and over rocks surrounding the beach and as we turned the corner we saw it. I don’t remember how I came across it, but this dreamy tower has been on my list of places to visit and I’m so happy we finally got to see it in person! Drew and I stood in complete awe. We came for the tower, but we didn’t realize it’s entire surrounding areas would make us feel like we transported to the coast of Ireland. Stunning moss covered rocks surrounded us and for a minute I stood and closed my eyes and pretended like I was living inside of a fairytale.
One of my favorite parts of these adventures are the surprises you come across along the way. This time it was having the nicest stranger, now friend, offer to take these beautiful photos for us. Thank you, Justin Kunimoto!
